I love working with children and their families. From working in both small and large daycares to being a nanny in NY and a foster parent for over a year, my life has always in some way involved children. I've taught art, storytelling, and movement classes for toddlers to age five.
I have a BA in Communications from Temple University where I also studied children's theater. I also studied Child Development and Child Psychology at Suffolk University. I am an EEC licensed provider certified in Infant/Toddler/Preschool, CPR/AED/First Aid.
I am a wife and also a mother to a handsome son and a beautiful daughter. I love to cook healthy meals, workout, read and enjoy quality time with my family and friends.

In 1986 after both of my children started primary school, I started my own family day care. Since then I have worked as a teacher, Director, Parent Advocate, Edcational Consultant and Sunday School teacher just to name a few!
A few of the institutes Ive studied at include Wheelock College and Lesley University. After earning degrees in both Education and Counseling, I have honed my skills and craft in early education and love giving back to the community.
I am Lead Teacher qualified for Infant/Toddler, Preschool and Kindergarten, Director I and Director II and CPR/AED/First Aid certified.
I am excited to assist my daughter Shante,`at G.L.E.E and have also became a Certified Assistant for this day care as the need arises.

I am excited to have Ms. Jean teach the Preschool music class at G.L.E.E. She fosters a passion for music and her talent shines! Jean brings years of study at The Juilliard School and Berklee School of Music and earned both a B.M. and M.M. at New England Conservatory.
I believe music is an integral part of early learning and im blessed to have Ms. Jean here!
